This 50’ standard box car with 10’ single door and no roofwalk with short ladders is red with black ends and white lettering and runs on Roller Bearing trucks. Built in 1959 by ATSF at the Topeka shops, in a series of 256 cars, this boxcar was used for general service. It was equipped with SL loaders and ATSF Shock Control floating underframe to minimize damage from in-train forces. They were repainted in the mid-1970s and by 1990 the entire series had been retired from revenue service.
