This 50’ standard box car with double doors is red with white lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. This car was built in August 1957 for Great Northern Railway as part of series 35500-35749. The GN was founded in 1899 and soon became a large network from the Midwest to the Pacific Coast. The railroad merged with Northern Pacific to become Burlington Northern in 1970.
